Case of corrupted Kazatomprom top managers taken to court

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - The Agency for Fighting Economic and Corruption-related Crimes (The Financial Police of the Republic of Kazakhstan) has submitted the case of Kazatomprom top managers to the court, according to its press service.
As reported earlier, top managers of Kazatomprom - director of Syrdariya-zhoba Kurylys LLP R. Alibekov, managing director of NC Kazatomprom JSC V. Shevelev and deputy director of Kazatomprom-Demeu LLP S. Abdrazakov who allegedly embezzled more than 1.3 billion tenge were arrested in April 2014. The agency said in a statement that it had completed the investigation and submitted the case to a court in Ust-Kamenogorsk in eastern Kazakhstan.
