Car accident on Almaty-Tashkent highway left one dead, passengers injured
TARAZ. June 12. KAZINFORM - On the road called Almaty - Tashkent in Zhambyl region a "VAZ" automobile hit a "KamAZ" truck, the driver of a car has died, his passengers have been injured, the press service of the Emergency Department of Zhambyl region informs.
"In Zhambyl district, at 535 km of the nationally important route Almaty - Tashkent, a 31-year-old driver of " VAZ-2106 " car drove into oncoming traffic and collided with a "KamAZ " truck, reports the Department for Emergency Situations.
As a result of an accident the driver of "VAZ" died from his injuries at the scene, and his passengers - 45, 40 and 50 years old - with a variety of injuries have been delivered to the first municipal hospital of Taraz city.
All the victims are residents of the Zhambyl region.
