Cairo hosted III session of Kazakh-Egyptian Business Council

ASTANA. May 18. KAZINFORM On May 3 Kazakhstan-Egypt Business Council held its third session in Cairo. Kazakhstan was represented there by top managers of 10 companies headed by Vice Chairman of the Commerce and Industry Chamber Gafur Ihsan, and the Egyptian side – by heads of 12 large companies, Kazinform has learnt from the press service of the Kazakh MFA.

The parties focused on the state and prospects of trade-economic relations between the two states, in particular, development of cooperation in pharmacy, construction, oil and gas sector, tourism, agriculture and fishery. Minister of Trade and Industry of Egypt Rashid Muhammad Rashid, Kazakhstan Ambassador to this country Bakhtiyar Tassymov, Vice Chairman of Kazakh Commerce and Industry Chamber G. Ihsan and co-Chairman of the Egyptian side of the Council Abdel Fadhil. Taking into consideration the growing interest of the two countries? business circles to establishing mutually beneficial cooperation and Kazakhstanis? wishes to visit Egypt?s historical and cultural monuments, the parties agreed to hold the next session in Almaty with the participation of Minister of Tourism of Egypt Zuheir Garana. Following the event a protocol of the third session of the Kazakhstan-Egypt Business Council was signed.
