Cabinet approves program on development of pharmaceutical industry of Kazakhstan for 2010-2014
ASTANA. July 13. KAZINFORM /Damir Baimanov/ The Kazakh Government has approved the sectoral program on development of pharmaceutical industry for 2010-2014. First Vice Minister of Industry and New Technologies Albert Rau introduced the corresponding document to the Cabinet at the session.
"The program is aimed at provision of the domestic market with 50 percent of pharmaceutical and medical products in kind through national production", A.Rau said.
According to the Vice Minister, for this purpose achievement, in accordance with the program, it is planned to modernize the current and construct new pharmaceutical enterprises and etc.
As A.Rau noted, the main instrument for the program implementation is conclusion of a long-term treaty for up to 7 years on purchasing medicines and medical products from the domestic producers through SK Pharmacy LLP.
According to the Vice Minister, the program provides support of export directions.
