C-295 aircraft added to Kazakhstan’s air transport force
ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Aircraft fleet of Air Defense Forces of the Kazakh Armed forces was added with an aircraft C-295, the press service of the Ministry of Defense informs.
"Over the years this type of aircraft was used in the international exercises "Steppe Eagle","Peace Mission", "Interaction", "Clear Sky". Currently, these aircraft have been successfully used for transportation of troops and for training of aircraft personnel," the statement reads. Transportation of C-295 aircraft, designed by the Spanish concern "Airbus Military", was carried out by Kazakhstan Air Force pilots, Colonel Rustem Tleumagambetov and Captain Baurdzhan Bisebayev. The airmen completed the full course of theoretical and practical training in the Spanish Seville.
