Businessmen of Italy and Pavlodar sign memo of coop

PAVLODAR. February 15. KAZINFORM /Vera Livintsova/ A memorandum of cooperation has been signed between the Commission for Economic Relations Development (Italy) and akimat of Pavlodar region; the press service of the akim (governor) reports.

Deputy akim Murat Ospanov and President of the Commission Rosario Salemi signed it at an exchange of contacts in Chisinau (Moldova) on February 9-10. A delegation of the Pavlodar entrepreneurs participated in it.

Businessmen from Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Mongolia and Armenia took part in the meeting within implementation of the Italian program "Business gate".

"The industrial and tourism potential of the Pavlodar Priirtyshye is ready for open business cooperation, we are interested in search for market outlets in Western Europe", M.Ospanov noted at a presentation.

Entrepreneurs of Rome, Verona and Milan expressed their interest in the Pavlodar metallurgy works, agricultural production, confectionary goods and recreational resources of Bayanaul resort.

The memorandum defined directions for mainstreaming trade-economic cooperation, favorable conditions for promotion of the Pavlodar productions to foreign markets.
