Budennovsk remembered terrorist massacre of 1995

On June 14, 1995, militants led by a Chechen rebel warlord Shamil Basayev attacked Budennovsk and took over 1,500 people hostage. The death toll of the attack was 129 people, including 18 police and 17 servicemen; 415 more were wounded.
