BTA restructuring plan approved by Kazakh Financial Supervision Agency

ASTANA. October 1. KAZINFORM /Muratbek Makulbekov/ "We have approved the plan of restructuring the Bank Turan Alem", Chairman of the Financial Supervision Agency Yelena Bakhmutova has said at briefing in the Senate today.
According to her, the plan of the BTA restructuring was approved Sep 26. "We consider the project quite enough to let the bank fulfill all necessary obligations in 2009 and till 2014", she said.
The term for concluding agreements with the creditors was prolonged till Dec 7, 2009.
As is known, international rating agencies estimated the Bank's joint debt in USD 12 bln. USD 4 mln of them must be serviced in 2009.
