Brussels holds a reception to mark Kazakhstan's Independence Day
BRUSSELS. December 13. KAZINFORM Brussels hosted an official reception on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The reception brought together members of the European Commission, the European External Action Service (EEAS), the European Parliament, eminent politicians from Belgium and Luxembourg, government officials, diplomats and ambassadors of foreign diplomatic missions accredited in Brussels, businessmen and public figures.
This year the event was held under the aegis of the 20 years of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Kazakhstan and the European Union. During this period, relations with the EU and its member countries have dramatically strengthened, expanded and entered a brand new level underpinned by bilateral contacts and ambitious agenda of the Kazakh-EU cooperation.
