British pop-star Craig David to congratulate Kazakhstanis on Astana Day
ANA. July 6. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ World-known British pop-star Craig David is to perform at the capital's Dostyk stadium today at 20.00. The singer has made it public at a press conference in Baiterek media centre, Kazinform reports.
Craig David is expected to give a two-hour show at the disco dedicated to celebration of Astana's birthday. His concert will become a mega event in Kazakhstan's musical life, especially for the youth. Craig David's album entitled "Born to do it" was in the list of world's best thirty albums, according to MTV channel.
As Sanzhar Mustafin, one of the organizers of the evening noted, British singer's arrival in Astana was a gift of Akim Imangali Tasmagambetov to the Astana citizens and guests.
This is the British star's second visit to Kazakhstan. He made his first visit to Almaty. Craig David congratulated all Kazakhstanis on Astana's birthday and promised to present them a bright show in the evening. Together with Craig David, Russian groups Banderos, Zveri and Dj Smash as well as Kazakhstani singers Batyrkhan Shukenov, Dilnaz Akhmadiyeva, Ivan Breusov, Makpal Isabekova and others will perform at the show.
