British largest aircraft landed in Atyrau with equipment for Caspian oil disaster elimination
ATYRAU. June 7. KAZINFORM – Last night the largest aircraft in the world called "Ruslan" landed in Atyrau with the equipment to eliminate the third level Caspian oil disaster.
It bears to remind that on June 6 there have started the Republican command-staff exercise named "Kashagan 2013." On the first day of the training the participants eliminated the consequences of the second level oil spillage, the maneuvers involved machinery and appliances of the North Caspian project members.
With the help of equipment delivered from the United Kingdom, the most dangerous - the third level oil spillage - will be eliminated today. "Oil Spill Response Limited» (OSRL) British company will take part in the exercises. The company is the only one in the world specializing in finishing off the third level oil accidents and their consequences, providing their own equipment and specialists.
"This phase of the maneuver is aimed at checking up the resources from other countries involved in Kazakhstan by contractors for possible spills’ elimination", said Zhakyp Marabayev, the Deputy Managing Director of North Caspian Operating Company.
