A 13 percent drop in lucrative premium passengers and an almost 3 billion pounds fuel bill combined to drive the UK flag carrier to a pre-tax loss of 401 million pounds compared with a profit of 922 million pounds the year before. That is its worst result in over two decades of business, the previous low point being a 200 million pounds loss in 2001-2002. British Airways consequently said it would not pay any dividends to shareholders or bonuses to managers for the year; Kazinform cites Xinhua. See www.chinaview.cn for full version
