LONDON. KAZINFORM Britain’s monarch, Queen Elizabeth II, died at the age of 96 in Balmoral Castle in Scotland on Thursday afternoon, Buckingham Palace said in a press release on Thursday, TASS reports.
«The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow,» it says.
