Britain's Prince Harry visits World Trade Center site in NY

NEW YORK. May 30. KAZINFORM. Britain's Prince Harry on Friday attended the official naming ceremony of the British Memorial Garden near the World Trade Center site in New York; Kazinform refers to Xinhua.

The 24-year-old prince joined New York Parks commissioner Adrian Benepe and other officials for the dedication at Hanover Square in Lower Manhattan. The garden honors the 67 British nationals who died in the September 11 terrorist attacks. "It is a great privilege for me to be here today in this beautiful garden right in the heart of New York City," local TV channel NY1 quoted the prince as saying, "My family is so proud to be so closely associated with it."
