Brent price below USD81/bbl on ICE

Brent crude futures with delivery in August 2026 dropped below $81 a barrel first time since March 4 of this year, according to trading data, TASS reports.
Brent prices lost 2.72% to 80.91 US dollars a barrel.
Brent futures recovered a little later to 80.94 US dollars per barrel, down 2.68%. WTI futures with the settlement in August 2026 lost 2.93% at the same time to 78.38 US dollars per barrel.
Early June, global commodity markets experienced a reallocation of capital during early Asian trading, as a contraction in oil prices and a weaker US dollar combined to lift gold and other precious metals.
