Brad Pitt: There are scarier things than zombies (World War Z premiere)
BRISBANE. June 11. KAZINFORM He plays the hero in terrifying zombie thriller World War Z, but it's not the undead that gives Brad Pitt nightmares. Hollywood's favourite leading man was in Sydney for the premiere of his latest movie World War Z last night, and admitted being the hero of a zombie apocalypse is nothing compared to looking after his family.
"The only thing that keeps me up at night is knowing is everyone safe. Are the kids safe, is mumma [Jolie] safe, is the house locked?", he tells news.com.au.
"It totally informs the film", he added, referring to his role as family man and ex-U.N . Investigator Gerry Lane, who faces the epic task of trying to find the source of the zombie outbreak.
But what's easier for the 49-year-old dad - battling zombies or raising six kids? "Zombies. Zombies any day", Pitt tells reporters, flashing that smile.

"Although, you can survive six kids and our film is pretty rough, so..."
Touching on the topic of family, Pitt was more than happy to chat about Ange, and told reporters she was "doing great" after undergoing a preventative double mastectomy earlier this year.
"It's been business as usual and onwards and upwards. And nice not to have to worry about it anymore", he said.
Before escaping the screaming fans to step inside and welcome World War Z premiere-goers, the ponytail-clad hunk had one last little gem for us.

"Maddox [his 11-year-old] has a little cameo. He's in the shadows, he's a zombie. He gets shot in the day, which is so cool for his friends".
It was Pitt's first trip to Australia, and he admitted he can't believe it's taken him so long to visit.
"It's even better than it looks on TV."
The superstar said he didn't know when he would return for a longer visit.
"We have to go where the work takes us, but we'd like to."
World War Z hits cinemas on June 20.
