Boy, 2, survives 12 hours in freezing forest alone

The 2-year-old Arsen became lost on April 26 when his parents left him at their relatives' house and he went to play outside. It was his mother who called the police later the same day to report her child had been missing. As it turned out the boy got lost and spent 12 hours alone in a nearby forest. His disappearance prompted a large ground search. The emergency crews were immediately dispatched to look for Arsen. They searched overnight and were able to locate the boy the next morning 2 kilometers away from his relatives' home. During the night the temperature dipped below freezing and the boy was diagnosed with hypothermia. No other injuries were reported.
