Boy, 12, killed in house fire in N Kazakhstan

PETROPAVLOVSK. KAZINFORM - A boy, 12, was killed in house fire in northern Kazakhstan, Kazinform has learnt from the regional emergencies department.
A four-apartment house caught fire at midnight in Yavlenka village. A woman and two children - a boy and a girl were at home at the time of the accident. The mother managed to save her 8-month daughter, but she was unable to rescue the boy. By the time firefighters arrived at the scene, the blaze destroyed 126 square meters of the house. The girl sustained severe burns and was rushed to a hospital.
