BOTA Foundation wraps up its work in Kazakhstan in 2014
ASTANA. June 19. KAZINFORM The BOTA Foundation wraps up its activities next year.
Member of the Board of Trustees of the BOTA Foundation Manen Omarov said Wednesday in Astana at the international conference "Innovative approaches to delivery of social service for children and youth in Kazakhstan".
"The BOTA Foundation will complete its work in May 2014. The foundation has accumulated extensive innovative experience in work with low-income families in Kazakhstan. It is based on the unique experience of the U.S. and European countries," Mr. Omarov added.
Registered in April 2008, the BOTA Foundation was established with the clear mission to improve the lives of children, youth and low-income families in Kazakhstan through investment into their health, education and social welfare. The BOTA Foundation currently offers 3 programs. They are as follows: The Conditional Cash Transfer Program (CCT), The Social Services Program (SSP) and The Tuition Assistance Program (TAP).
Some 140 thousand women, children and young people from low-income families got help within those three programs.
