Bomb kills 39 at Afghan wedding party

MOSCOW. June 10. KAZINFORM At least 39 people have been killed when a powerful blast ripped through a wedding party in Afghanistan's southern Kandahar province, the BBC has said, quoting local officials; Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.
The incident took place in Kandahar province's Argandab district, the Press Association reported.
The news agency quoted provincial executive director Mohammad Annus as saying more than 70 people were wounded in the blast.
The cause of the explosion has not been established. No-one has claimed responsibility; Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
