Blizzard leaves more than 100 settlements without power in Kostanay region

103 settlements in 12 districts and cities of Kostanay region were left without electricity due to bad weather conditions, Kazinform News Agency reports.
Blizzard and 23-28 mps wind have been pounding the region for several hours. In some parts of the region gusts of wind reach 30 mps.
Grade 1-11 students of the second shift were switched to remote learning
Earlier it was reported that one person had been injured in a mass car pile-up in the region. The gusty wind toppled the Christmas tree in Lissakovsk and tore off a roof of a residential complex in Tobyl.
