Blast hits Iranian ambassador house in Libya

TRIPOLI. KAZINFORM - An explosion occurred in front of Iranian ambassador house in Libyan capital city of Tripoli, Fars news agency reported Feb. 22.

The explosion took place in Tripoli's Bin Ashour district on Feb. 22 afternoon.

A device exploded at the gate of the Iranian ambassador's residence, Aljazeera quoted a Libyan security official as saying.

"Nobody was hurt," the official added.

Iran's diplomatic mission to Libya left the country in mid 2013 for security reasons.
