Bishkek hosts International Medical Congress of SCO countries
The International Medical Congress of the SCO countries kicked off in Bishkek on March 27 under the topic “Innovations and technologies in the development of cardiology and non-communicable diseases in the countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization,” Kabar reports.
The congress, dedicated to the memory of the outstanding scientist and clinician, academician, Hero of Socialist Labor of Kyrgyzstan Mirsaid Mirrakhimov, brought together about 400 medical workers, including more than a hundred foreign guests, including academicians and world-famous scientists.
Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Alymkadyr Beishenaliev, Deputy Secretary General of the SCO Janesh Kane, scientists and academicians, medical staff, and representatives of private medical organizations also joint the event.
The purpose of the congress is to present modern achievements and best practices in the field of cardiology and internal diseases in the SCO member states, to introduce innovative technologies, pharmaceutical products and medical equipment into practical medicine. The congress program will be focused on the latest recommendations and developments in the field of cardiology, cardiac surgery, internal and mountain medicine, based on evidence-based data.
