Bill aimed at reducing administrative barriers to business introduced to Kazakh Government

ASTANA. May 28. KAZINFORM /Askar Bimendin/ The bill "On amendments to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on the issues of improvement of the permit system" has been submitted for the Government's consideration. Kazakh Minister of Economic Development and Trade Zhanar Aitzhanova has said it at the meeting of the board of control and monitoring of the quality of permitting legislations under the People's Democratic Party 'Nur Otan'.

According to her, the bill is to revoke licenses of 21 kinds of activity, 5 types of certificates, 2 types of accreditations, 44 permits etc.

Z. Aitzhanova noted that the new bill would simplify the permitting system, reduce the number of necessary documents for issuing a permit.

The draft law is planned to be introduced to the Parliament in June 2010.
