Biathlon World Championship: Kazakhstan's squad results in Men's Individual Race
The men’s 20km individual race at the 2025 Biathlon World Championships took place in Lenzerheide, Switzerland, Kazinform News Agency cites Olympic.kz.
Vladislav Kireyev, Vadim Kurales, Asset Dyussenov, and Alexandr Mukhin represented Kazakhstan in the men’s 20km individual competition at the Biathlon World Championships.
Kireyev was the top performer among Kazakhstani biathletes, finishing 74th. Kurales secured the 75th spot, while Mukhin and Dyussenov finished 86th and 89th, respectively.
The French athlete Eric Perrot pocketed gold. Italian Tommaso Giacomel secured the 2nd spot. The bronze medal was claimed by French Quentin Fillon Maillet.
On top of that, today, February 20, a mixed relay event will take place. Team Kazakhstan will include Vadim Kurales and Arina Kryukova.
The Mixed Relay Race starts at 08:05 pm Astana time.
It’s worth noting that Kireyev and Kurales brought Kazakhstan the biathlon men's 10km sprint gold and silver, respectively, at the Harbin Asian Winter Games.
