Berlusconi takes stroll in Rome, says unafraid after attack

ROME. January 13. KAZINFORM Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has gone for a stroll in downtown Rome for the first time since he was attacked in December, local media reported, Kazinform refers to RIA Novosti.

Reporters found the premier near his unofficial residence Palazzo Grazioli when he was entering a silverware shop on Tuesday. He was with his bodyguards but communicated with people well just like he had before.

"Nothing has changed," he told reporters. "I will still greet Italians without any fear."

Berlusconi, 73, had his nose and two teeth broken after a mentally ill man hurled an alabaster souvenir model of the Milan Cathedral at the premier while he was greeting the crowd in Milan and signing autographs after a rally speech on December 13, Kazinform cites RIA Novosti.
