Belgian queen receives death threats
BRUSSELS. July 20. KAZINFORM Belgium's 82-year-old Queen Fabiola has received death threats, national media said on Tuesday, Kazinform refers to RIa Novosti.
She received a postcard with a coffin on it stating that she will be killed on July 21, Belgium's National Day, media reports said.
This is not the first time the queen's life has been threatened. In 2009, Belgian police interviewed a man with British nationality but later released him. In May of this year Belgian police opened an investigation into other death threats against the queen.
The EDH Flanders group also earlier threatened to shoot the queen with a crossbow on National Day. The queen reacted with humor and arrived at the celebrations with an apple as a target for a shot. She also refused to wear a bullet-proof shirt
The queen's security will be tightened during Wednesday's National Day celebrations, Kazinform cites RIA Novosti. See www.en.rian.ru
