Belarusian MP hails Single Economic Space as 'one of the most promising and rapidly growing markets'
MINSK. KAZINFORM The Single Economic Space is one of the most promising and rapidly growing markets in the world. The opinion was voiced by Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Anatoly Rubinov at the closing ceremony of the fourth session of the fifth convocation on 26 June.
"The Single Economic Space market is gaining momentum and is one of the most promising and rapidly growing markets in the world. Thanks to the signed treaty [on setting up the Eurasian Economic Union] new foreign trade opportunities will open in Belarus starting next year. We should effectively use them in our national interests," believes Anatoly Rubinov, BelTA reports.
Speaking about the signing of the Eurasian Economic Union Treaty by the presidents of Belarus, Russia, and Kazakhstan, the MP remarked: "The most important thing is that we move forward together, finding mutually beneficial solutions".
Anatoly Rubinov summed up the current session's performance of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly with regard to national laws. In the period as many as 61 bills were discussed, which development was necessitated by the legal regulation of public relations.
The Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly mentioned some of them. A bill on the operation of electric transport and metro was adopted to enable proper conditions for passengers and the formation of a fair tariff policy. Bills on pricing, the minimal salary and the subsistence wage, on natural monopolies were designed to protect interests of citizens in the sphere of labor and consumption. In the sphere of constitutional legislation a bill on Belarusians abroad was passed to ensure the solidarity of Belarusians across the globe. "The bill will allow invigorating our relations with compatriots who live far from the motherland," the Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus was convinced.
