Belarusian experience for Kazakhstan's forensics reform
MINSK. KAZINFORM Specialists from Kazakhstan intend to use the experience of Belarus for reforming their expert system. The relevant idea was discussed during an official visit of representatives of the Forensics Center of the Kazakhstani Justice Ministry to the State Forensics Committee of Belarus, the Committee's press service told BelTA.
The delegation members were made familiar with the process that had been used to unite all the Belarusian forensic units into one government agency. The organization and personnel structure of the Belarusian agency was examined as well as its regulations, working conditions of forensic experts, and scientific support for expert efforts.
In turn, the Kazakh side expressed interest in sharing experience and cutting-edge accomplishments in the future. Specialists believe that the experience of optimization of the forensic system and the first results achieved by the Belarusian State Forensics Committee testify to the effectiveness of the steps taken in Belarus and will surely be used to reform the expert system in Kazakhstan, BelTA reports.
Members of the Kazakhstan delegation were also made familiar with the lab equipment used by Belarusian specialists to examine narcotics, psychotropic substances, their precursors and analogs. Apart from that, Belarusian experts shared their experience of starting and keeping databases of gene types, sound records, and other criminal records.
