Belarus to build three plants in Venezuela by 2011 end
MINSK. July 6. KAZINFORM Belarus is set to build three plants in Venezuela by the end of this year. The companies will produce tractors, trucks and construction materials, First Vice Premier of Belarus Vladimir Semashko said at a meeting in Minsk on 5 July to mark the 200th anniversary of Venezuela's independence, BelTA has learnt.
The Belarusian official emphasized the importance of developing relations with Venezuela. In his words, bilateral cooperation has reached its strategic level already. Vladimir Semashko stressed that Belarus and Venezuela have been aiming at closer contacts in every area despite the geographic position of the two states.
A Belarusian delegation is currently in Caracas taking part in the country's independence celebrations, he noted. It shows that Belarus sets much on cooperation with Venezuela; Kazinform cites BelTA.
