Belarus to assume CSTO chair in December

YEREVAN. August 20. KAZINFORM /Murat Makulbekov/ The CSTO chairmanship will transfer to Belarus in December this year. Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has made it public today at the press conference upon the completion of the informal meeting of Heads of the CSTO members states in Yerevan.
Concerning the informal summit D.Medvedev noted that the situation in Kyrgyzstan was thoroughly discussed. The participants of the meeting agreed that measures must be taken in order to establish an effective government in this country. According to him, all Heads of State confirmed their adherence to the agreements reached during the Moscow summit in May this year.
