Belarus, Kazakhstan discuss industrial, space cooperation

MINSK. KAZINFORM Belarus and Kazakhstan discussed prospects in industrial and space cooperation among other issues considered at the 11th meeting of the intergovernmental Belarus-Kazakhstan commission on trade and economic cooperation. The meeting was held in Taldykorgan, Kazakhstan on 17 September, BelTA learnt from the Foreign Ministry.

The Belarusian delegation was led by Vice Premier Mikhail Rusy. The parties discussed cooperation in equipment supplies, agriculture, transport and logistics, designing and construction, interregional and sci-tech contacts, and humanitarian activities, BelTA reports.

Apart from that, the parties talked over the progress made in the implementation of the joint action plan for 2014-2016 of the economic cooperation program between the Republic of Belarus and the republic of Kazakhstan for 2009-2016 (the roadmap on the development of the trade and economic cooperation for 2014-2016).

The program of the meeting also included a forum with the participation of businessmen of Belarus and Kazakhstan.
