The Belarusian head of government stated that for now such restrictions exist. “I’d like to mention the restrictions that still exist in the single customs space and the things that still force the treatment of Belarus as a foreign state. I think that in the remaining period of 2012 all the restrictions should go, which unfortunately exist and determine the policy of future development to a large extent,” he said.

In turn, Dmitry Rogozin stated that Belarus and Russia had advanced considerably in the formation of a single industrial policy, adjustment of programs and plans relating to various forms of manufacturing cooperation. “We enjoy support of our presidents in matters of the great work that we have initiated,” he said. The Vice Premier of Russia also drew attention to the development of partnership of the two countries in the defense industry, which can now offer breakthrough avenues and high-tech projects to the two economies.
