Basic capital investments increased by 2.2% - Minister Sultanov

ASTANA. October 20. KAZINFORM. /Serik Sabekov/ The growth of basic capital investments made 2.2% for nine months of 2009. Kazakh Economy and Budget Planning Minister Bakhyt Sultanov has made it public at the Government's sitting today.
The Minister reminded of implementation of large investment projects: launch of a locomotive assembly plant in Astana, a 500 kW North-South power transmission line, Atyrau-Beineu highway.
"By the end of the year it is planned to put into service Astana-Shchuchinsk highway, the first stage of Koksarai counter-regulator, a passenger terminal in Aktau, a gold production plant and realize a number of projects in food and construction industries", B. Sultanov noted.
