Ban of flights of Kazakh air companies in EU to be lifted in 2010: A.Kusainov

ANA. November 3. KAZINFORM /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The ban of flights of the Kazakh air companies will be lifted in the second half of 2010", Kazakh Minister of Transport and Communications Abelgazy Kusainov has said Tuesday at the session of the Government.

As earlier reported, the European Commission included a range of Kazakh air companies to the blacklist limiting their flights to Europe.

According to A.Kusainov, the Majilis (Lower House of the Kazakh Parliament) considers new draft Law "On aviation" that will outline all remarks and proposals of the International Civil Aviation Organization on strengthening of the control over the flights security.

He also noted that the Ministry takes system measures in this field. For example, The Center for flights security was established. Today 15 inspectors are trained in the Center in accordance with the European aviation requirements at the expense of KZT 64 mln allocated from the Governmental reserves.
