He explained that the competitive enterprises will contribute to the growth of GDP, diversification of the economy, the growth of exports, the increase of productivity and profitability, as well as the access to new markets. "The goal of the program is to provide comprehensive support to domestic medium-sized businesses to improve their competitiveness at the regional and the international levels. Our new program is intended to solve such problems as the development of non-oil exports, increase in industrial production, creation of new high-paying jobs and substitution of imports," he added. It was assumed that during the first year the program will focus on three sectors including agro-industry (as well as food industry), machinery and construction materials production. In subsequent years, the scope of the program will be expanded. There will be made all necessary changes based on the results of the first year of the program's implementation.
