B.Sagintayev: EEU will zero import duties on equipment and materials for EXPO-2017
MOSCOW. KAZINFORM - Materials and equipment imported into Kazakhstan from third countries for EXPO-2017 will be taxed at a zero rate of customs duty, this has been stated by First Deputy Prime Minister Bakhytzhan Sagintayev after a meeting of the Eurasian Economic Commission at the level of first deputy heads of governments.
"We should create favorable conditions in order to make the exhibition attractive for our investors. We proposed to import equipment and materials for EXPO-2017 without the application of customs duties and with easy customs clearance. Colleagues supported our proposal", said B.Sagintayev. "All materials imported into Kazakhstan for EXPO-2017 will be taxed at a zero rate of customs duty", concluded First Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan.
