Azerbaijan to build modern logistics center in Kazakhstan
BAKU. August 14. KAZINFORM Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have signed the memorandum of understanding on the Aktau Center for Production and Logistics today.
After the signing ceremony in Baku, Vice-President of Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Fund (AZPROMO) Vidadi Guliyev said within this project Azerbaijan's Azersun Holding will build a large logistics center in Kazakhstan. "The center will be constructed in the special economic zone "Seaport Aktau" and is believed to expand export and transit capacity of the region and facilitate the development of non-oil sector in Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan," he noted.
"AZPROMO is ready to invest into the project, as it is expected to widen commercial and economic cooperation between the two states, play an important role in the development of transport infrastructure of the region and activate international freight traffic," Mr. Guliyev elaborated.
