Azerbaijan takes over Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking State chairmanship
BAKU. August 15. KAZINFORM Today, at the meeting of foreign ministers of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States in Azerbaijani city of Gabala, Kyrgyzstan has passed the Council's chairmanship to Azerbaijan.
According to Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elmar Mammadyarov, the development of economic relations between the member countries of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States will be the priority for Azerbaijan's chairmanship.
Minister Mammadyarov also noted the importance of developing economic agenda which would reflect the specific priorities and terms of cooperation.
"The organization of meetings of industrial spheres' heads of economy, transport, customs is of great importance. The decisions that will be taken at these meetings will make an important contribution to organization's development," Azerbaijani Foreign Minister concluded.
