Azerbaijan hopes Caspian Sea legal status to be determined in 2016

"The regular summit of the Caspian states will take place in Astana in 2016. We hope that the Astana summit will be the final one in determining the legal status of the Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan's Deputy Foreign Minister Khalaf Khalafov said following the 39th meeting of the working group on determining the legal status of the Caspian Sea in Baku. In his words, 80% of provisions of the Convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea have already been agreed.
