Average salary in Kazakhstan was KZT 113 000 in July – Statistics Agency
ASTANA. August 16. KAZINFORM - The average monthly nominal wage per employee amounted to 112 thousand 792 tenge in July 2013, according to the Kazakh Agency for Statistics.
The index of nominal wage by July 2012 was 105.8%, and the actual wage index was 99.9%.
Thus, the highest salary is paid in the field of professional, scientific and technical activities - 211,500 tenge, in mining and quarrying - 208,500 tenge, financial and insurance activities - 198,000 tenge. The lowest wages is paid to workers in agriculture, forestry and fisheries - 56,600 tenge, which is 49.8% less than the national average.
Regionally, the highest salary is paid in Atyrau - 197.100 tenge, the lowest is in Zhambyl and North Kazakhstan regions - 79,300 tenge.
