Avalanche risk high in Almaty and S Kazakhstan regions

ASTANA. KAZINFORM - Thawing weather forced the authorities of South Kazakhstan and Almaty regions to issue an avalanche alert this weekend.
The Committee for emergencies of the Internal Affairs Ministry highly recommends to avoid venturing into avalanche prone areas in these regions.
