Austria ready to widen and strengthen bilateral relations with Kazakhstan
ATY. July 16. KAZINFORM /Daniyar Sikhimbayev/ Within the framework of the informal meeting of the OSCE foreign ministers in Almaty OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Kazakh Secretary of State-Minister of Foreign Affairs Kanat Saudabayev has held a meeting with Minister for European and International Affairs of Austria Michael Spindelegger today.
"I congratulated K.Saudabayev on success which the OSCE reached under his leadership within this year. His work as the Chairman-in-Office is very important. K.Saudabayev informed me of his assessment of the situation in Kyrgyzstan because it is one of the major challenges the OSCE faces today", Michael Spindelegger noted.
"We discussed the prospects of holding the OSCE Summit this year. Austria supports Kazakhstan's proposal to carry out this Summit. We have excellent relations with Kazakhstan, Austria is ready to expand and strengthen bilateral relations, especially in the economic sphere. We hope that we will have more specific projects", the Austrian Minister said.
