Australian Open 2014: Radwanska sends Kazakhstani Yulia Putintseva home after R1

ASTANA. January 14. KAZINFORM Agnieszka Radwanska from Poland beat Kazakhstani Yulia Putintseva 6-0, 5-7, 6-2 in the first round of the 2014 Australian Open at Melbourne Park Tuesday morning.
The world No. 5 Radwanska cruised through the first set, but was outplayed by the 19-year-old Putintseva in the second one. However, the Polish tennis player pulled herself together and routed her opponent to advance to the second round of the tournament.
NOTE: It is worth mentioning that two other Kazakhstani tennis players Galina Voskoboeva and Zarina Diyas survived the first round scare by defeating their respective opponents Irina-Camelia Begu (Romania) and Katerina Siniakova (Czech Republic).
