Atyrau woman to be sentenced for abuse of adopted children

33-year-old resident of the area was arrested in December 2012. She was charged under Article 107, part 2 of the Criminal Code of Kazakhstan providing punishment for cruelty to juveniles, who are her foster children - a girl of ten and a boy of thirteen.

But, as previously reported, the woman who is committed to non-traditional religious movement, is also suspected that tried to bring up the adopted son as a militant. And that has been the main reason for her arrest.

She tried to impress upon her adopted son that his father had been killed by the KNB (National Security Committee) and he should put on "suicide bomber's belt," blow himself up in the committee's building.
