Atameken memorial renamed into square of state symbols

ASTANA. July 4. KAZINFORM. /Aigul Tulekbayeva/ The territory of the ethnic memorial complex "Atameken" has been renamed into the square of state symbols on Saturday, when the ceremony of opening of celebratory events devoted to Astana's 11th anniversary was held there; Kazinform refers to the Astana Akimat's press service.
As reported earlier, the opening ceremony was held by President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The square is supposed to hold swearing-in ceremonies for army officers, ceremonies of awarding state prizes, recognition of heroes of labor and sport and other celebratory activities.
