Astrakhan rgn investment potential presented at Atyrau Invest Forum

The Forum was held under the patronage of the Atyrau region with the support of the National Agency for Export and Investment KAZNEX INVEST. Business mission of the Astrakhan region was headed by the Acting Director of the Investment Development Agency Vladimir Povalyaev.

"The main purpose of the Russian region's participation in the business forum is to strengthen the "economic and investment cooperation with Kazakh investors as well as the exchange of experiences and technologies", the press-service of the Investment Development Agency of the Astrakhan region reports.

The busy program of the Forum included plenary meeting and work in sections. The agenda included such issues as "Investment projects for potential investors", "Development of cooperation in the framework of the Customs Union", "Innovative development and "green" economy", "Development of local content and public-private partnership."

The organizers provided the participants for visiting Atyrau industries in order to more deeply explore the region's market.

Note that the Government of the Astrakhan region of the Russian Federation and the Atyrau region of Kazakhstan signed an agreement on border trade, economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation. Astrakhan region shipbuilding enterprises actively develop collaboration with partners from Kazakhstan.
