Astana to support lyceum No.1 of Grozny named after Nursultan Nazarbayev
ASTANA. April 16. KAZINFORM /Gulnara Zhandagulova/ "Astana will support the lyceum No.1 of Grozny named after Nursultan Nazarbayev", Vice Minister of Education and Science Makhmetgali Sarybekov has said today at the briefing.
Recently the lyceum No.1 was named after Kazakh President N.Nazarbayev. President of the Chechen Republic Ramzan Kadyrov said that the lyceum will be another symbol of friendship and close cooperation between Kazakhstan and Russia. "Nursultan Nazarbayev was the first who lent a helping hand to Chechen people when our republic begun its revival", R.Kadyrov said.
The Kazakh President made a donation of a minibus, library and interactive board for computer class to the lyceum.
"We must help this school both in scientific and methodical aspects. We are selecting a school in Astana that is to be a kind of twin school of the lyceum. The lyceum will be granted maximum scientific-methodical assistance", M.Sarybekov said.
