Astana to host International Action Movies Festival
ASTANA. June 10. KAZINFORM /Zhanna Korkitova/ Within celebration of the Day of the City the capital of Kazakhstan will host an International Action Movies Festival "Astana". World-known stars are expected to take part in the event, the press center of the Festival has informed today.
The Festival is organized by Bazelevs Production Russian Film Company under the support the municipal Akimat. According to the organizers, such event as the International Action Movies Festival will promote positive image of Astana on the world arena. This will be the first action genre festival in Astana. The organizers plan to hold it every year.
Mike Tyson, Dolph Lungren, Wu Ping have already confirmed their participation in the Festival. Besides, Russian actors Vladimir Mashkov, Dmitry Pevtsov, Dmitri Kharatyan and others are expected to participate too. The organizers did not name all the stars taking part in the event to keep the intrigue till the opening of the Festival.
