Astana to hold roundtable on Semipalatinsk region rehabilitation

ASTANA. September 28. KAZINFORM. /Kanat Kulshmanov/ A roundtable devoted to the issues of rehabilitation of the Semipalatinsk region will be held in Astana on September 29. Kazakh MFA's press sercretary Iliyas Omarov has made it public at a briefing in Astana today.
Representatives of the state bodies and UN structures will take part in the event. The meeting is aimed at holding review of the activity of all interested sides in rehabilitation of the Semipalatinsk polygon, discussing the issues of preparation for the international conference on the problems of the Semipalatinsk test site.
